Ferme de la Rivière Blanche
Caroline is especially excited by this tiny, family-run farm offering a variety of specialty Japanese vegetables and greens.

Roots and Shoots Farm
A brand new organic farm operating in Manotick Station, owner Robin Turner has already become an important supplier to ZenKitchen, offering greens and other produce throughout the growing season. You'll find Robin and his assistant manager Jess at the Lansdowne Farmers Market on Sundays.

Waratah Downs
The Weatherhead-Ross family's certified organic farm isn't just growing vegetables: their farm is part of their overall committment to community activism. With their three adult children, Colleen and John grow lovely pattipans, squash, greens, peppers and many other staples of the ZenKitchen pantry.

Champignon Le Coprin
No other product gets the regular rave reviews that our mushrooms get, and it's thanks to the amazing talents of Christophe that we have his cultivated (and certified organic) King Erengi, Beach Shimeji, Blue Oyster, etc; and the handpicked wild Chanterelles, Morels and Pine Mushrooms available for our diners.

Acorn Creek Garden Farm
Andy and Cindy Terauds' farm offers a wide variety of vegetables throughout the season. We especially love their wide varieties of squash, tomatoes and heirloom vegetables. Andy is the force behind the Lansdowne Park farmers' market and a strong supporter of Savour Ottawa.

Gerrie's Gourmet Greens
Gerrie operates an organic, hydroponic, scrap-wood-heated greenhouse on Foley Mountain near Westport. She provides many of our Asian and salad greens, especially in the off-season.

Upper Canada Cranberries
We get both cranberry juice - used in our cocktails and some cooking - and fresh and frozen cranberries from this cranberry bog located just south of Ottawa. The farm is fascinating, full of equipment hand designed and built by farmer Lyle Slater.

Rainbow Heritage Garden Project
Located near Buckingham, QC, Rainbow Heritage offer a range of heirloom turnips, chard, beets and many other organic vegetables. They're constantly experimenting with new things - always a source of excitement in the kitchen!
Noble Bean
The art of fermenting soya beans into the dense cake called Tempeh goes back thousands of years. And the Brown family of nearby Elphin ON has mastered it in their cottage industry facility.

Limeydale Farms
Another Ottawa city farm, Limeydale's excellent cranberry beans, corn and other vegetables are offered at their farmgate stand at Hawthorne and Hunt Club Rds.
Kiwan Farms
Kiwan is one of Ottawa's "downtown" farms - a lovely greenhouse operation along Hawthorne. They produce peppers, corn, and a variety of other vegetables.
Jambican Studio Gardens
Colin Samuel's organic garden in Kemptville produces a wide variety of exotic greens and vegetables, including kallaloo, mustard, collard and nettle. A mainstay at the Main St and Lansdowne farmers' markets, Colin is always a pleasure to trade recipe ideas with.

La Soyarie
A little bit of Japan in Canada's national capital, La Soyarie makes fresh organic tofu and related products. They supply all of our tofu, including the wonderful Age-tofu.

Hall's Apple Market
Besides the apples themselves, Hall's supplies us with fresh apple cider, apple butter and the apple cider vinegar used in many of our salad dressings and pickles.

Cocoa Camino
Our top-quality chocolate comes from La Siembra Co-operative, which produces the Cocoa Camino line of premium Fair Trade Certified organic chocolate, cocoa and sugar products. They work to reconnect consumers with farmers in a sustainable manner by adopting the same democratic, participatory and transparent model that their producer partners follow in their own co-operatives.

Butterfly Sky Farms
Located in Sarsfield, Ontario, Butterfly Sky grows a variety of microgreens which we use for garnishes and flavoured oils.
Art-is-in Bakery
Master baker Kevin Mathieson provides beautiful artisinal breads, including the vegan breads we offer at the beginning of our meals. His sourdoughs, in particular, have often been allowed to rise for 48 hours or more, giving them a flavour and texture that Ottawa has grown to love.

Rochon Farms
A longtime vendor at the Byward and Parkdale Markets, Rochon Farms in Edwards ON sells a huge variety of fruit and vegetables, from yellow and pink watermellon to onions, garlic, tomatoes and most other table veg.
Warner's Farm
Our local climate is too cool for fruit like peaches, plums and a lot else, so the Ottawa Farmer's Market decided to allow Warner's Farm of Beamsville Ontario to be their one non-local producer. That's good enough for us, so we buy much of our fruit from them, too.
