	ZenKitchen wins Silver!
	For the second time in a row, ZenKitchen's Chef Caroline Ishii won the Silver medal at the annual Gold Medal Plates competition, held November 14, 2011. Congratulations to Chef Caroline and the whole ZenKitchen team!

	Restaurant Adventures airing Tuesdays at 6:30 on OWN
	The Restaurant Adventures of Caroline and Dave - the TV series that followed ZenKitchen's humble but rocky beginnings - is now showing on the Oprah Winfrey Network, Tuesdays at 6:30 and 3:30.

	EnRoute's Restaurant Edition offered some high praise: Charcuterie-free dining There is life after animal products for Ottawa chef Caroline Ishii. Zen Kitchen dares to take vegan cuisine out of the tree-planting mess hall and into fine dining. Ishii presents clean, creative and beautifully plated food – best expressed in small dishes like sesame-encrusted mushrooms with anise-tamarind reduction and prickly-sweet chilies that are as good as fried chicken (does that sound crassly carnivorous?) – while sommelier David Loan arranges Ontario-forward wine pairings. 	Sunday Brunch begins July 18! Change to lunch hours
	We'll offer brunch on Sundays, 11-2pm, beginning July 18th. Expect some of our lunch favourites along pancakes, Asian-style breakfast dishes, freshly baked scones, and even some more traditional breakfast fare. Please note that as a result of customer feedback, we will no longer offer lunch service on Wednesdays or Saturdays after July 17. We'll still be open for lunch on Thursdays and Fridays, 11-2.

	ZenKitchen named Ottawa's New Restaurant of the Year!
	The Ontario Restaurant, Hotel and Motel Association (OHRMA) Ottawa tonight named ZenKitchen as Ottawa's New Restaurant of the Year. "Judges noted the incredible impact ZenKitchen has had in just six short months. Judges also thought Caroline and Dave should be lauded for their risk-taking, innovation, and the uniqueness of their vision for the restaurant." ORHMA Restaurant Awards

	Air date for TV show announced
	The W Network announced today that The Restaurant Adventures of Caroline and Dave will premier on Wednesday January 6, 2010 at 9:00 pm. We hope you'll tune in!
